SEMS Auditing Documents

These documents address planning, conducting, and reporting a SEMS audit, as well as preparing a corrective action plan to improve your SEMS.

To address the differences between the 3rd and 4th Editions of API RP 75, different editions of COS-1-06, -07, -08, and -09 are available. While considered recommended guidance for all SEMS audits offshore, COS-accredited ASP are obliged to use these documents during SEMS audits and when the auditee wants to obtain a SEMS Certificate.

Different editions of these documents are required for ASP depending on the auditee’s business type and location as shown in the following documents:

SEMS Protocol and Gap Analysis

• COS-1-01 COS SEMS II Audit Protocol- Checklist - For companies whose SEMS is aligned with API RP 75 3rd Edition, this document can provide a gap analysis compared to the RP.
